Unofficial election results: Contested races for Ward Councilor (Wards 2, 4, 6, 8) — Micley, Block, Bixby & Farrell

Unofficial results posted on the City’s website for the contested races for Ward Councilor (the City Council seats voted on by the residents of each ward separately) are as follows:

• Ward 2: David Micley defeats Dan Gaynor, 1782 to 1109
• Ward 4: Randy Block defeats Doris Ann Sweet, 1229 to 847
• Ward 6: Martha Bixby narrowly defeats Lisa Gordon, 1310 to 1287
• Ward 8: Stephen Farrell defeats Holly Ryan, 1096 to 648

The margin in the Ward 6 Bixby/Gordon race was 24 votes. If 12 of the 2,586 total voters (0.46%) had voted for Gordon, the race would be tied.
