A group of volunteers in the Indian American Community of Newton will host a free event, the second annual India Day in Newton, to celebrate and share Indian culture and heritage at the Hyde Community Center playground (90 Lincoln Street, Newton Highlands) on August 13, 5PM-7:30PM (rain date: August 21). Bring a picnic dinner if you wish, or buy from CHULO Indian Cuisine on-site. Enjoy Bollywood dancing, music, cultural shows, and games and activities for children.
