The School Committee will meet virtually (Zoom link) on Monday, October 30 at 7PM and will vote to enter into Executive Session (see Meeting Notice) to discuss strategy with respect to collective bargaining with the Newton Teachers Association (NTA) Units A-E, Newton Educational Secretaries Associations (NESA), and the Custodian Association.
The Negotiations Subcommittee of the Newton School Committee will meet in person (Room 214, Education Center) and will vote to enter into Executive Session on Tuesday, October 31 at 10:30AM (see Meeting Notice) for purpose (2) Step-3 Grievance (Collective Bargaining Sessions pursuant to MGL Chapter 30A section 21(a) – to conduct bargaining sessions but also grievance hearings required by a collective bargaining agreement.
