This month Newton Neighbors, in collaboration with The Village Bank and The Street Chestnut Hill, has been collecting school supplies for children in Newton and neighboring towns. Their School Supply Drive is in its final week and is open through July 28.
What to donate (no monograms or company-specific logos, please):
- New or gently used backpacks (priority: middle and high school backpacks)
- New or gently used lunchboxes
- Water bottles
- New or gently used graphing calculators
- $25 gift cards to Star Market, Target, or Amazon for school supplies
How and where to donate (several options)
- Purchase items and drop off at Village Bank locations (Mon–Fri: 8AM–4PM; Sat: 9AM-noon)
- Purchase items and drop off at The Street, Chestnut Hill:
