The Newton Police Department will host its National Night Out community event on August 1, 5PM-8PM, at Captain Ryan Park (at corner of Washington and Cherry Streets, West Newton). All are welcome for an evening of fun and community building, with kids’ activities, live music, Touch-a-Truck, Officer Leo, cotton candy, popcorn, Cabot’s ice cream, and food trucks.
