Oliver, et al.: 11 Councilors in support of John Chaimanis

John Chaimanis and his family are simultaneously a muti-generational Newton family, and a second-generation American family. He and his wife have three students attending Newton Public Schools, and are deeply invested in ensuring our schools succeed. John practices the ideas behind servant leadership; he knows that elected officials work for you. He seeks to understand multiple perspectives and is committed to representing your needs when he votes.

With a master’s degree in finance, a background in teaching and school administration (he co-founded a school), managing his own renewable energy business with 12 employees, his background is both insightful and unique. His experience and perspective is a welcome addition to the skill set on the City Council – and we believe he is the right person for the job.

Nearly half of the current City Council wants John Chaimanis to join us, working for you. He is our choice for your vote in the Ward 4 at-large City Councilor race.

Sincerely,

Councilors John Oliver (Ward 1), Tarik Lucas and David Micley (Ward 2), Pam Wright and Julia Malakie (Ward 3), Lenny Gentile and Randall Block (Ward 4), Rena Getz (Ward 5), Alan Lobovits (Ward 6) Marc Laredo (Ward 7), and Stephen Farrell (Ward 8)
