The Newton Free Library will host Pysanky: Ukrainian Egg Decorating Demonstration on Monday, November 24 at 6:30PM. At this demonstration, Christina Pasicznyk Vogel will explain the history and symbolism of “writing eggs” in the ancient Ukrainian tradition. After a presentation about pysanky eggs, Christina will demonstrate the process live. There will be plenty of time for questions throughout the program.
Registration is encouraged, and reminders will be sent to those who sign up. Walk-ins are also welcome.
