Land Use Committee – 10/28/2025

The Land Use Committee approved the following (see the report and watch the meeting video):

  • 64–66 Dalby Street – additions within existing footprint to extend a nonconforming multi-family (8–0) members supported the modest vertical additions to the second and half-stories because they stay inside the footprint and preserve the multi-family use on the lot.   • 121 Hartman Road – retaining walls over 4′ at rear. (7–1, Councilor Farrell abstaining) to allow a series of rear walls over the 4′ maximum where necessary for safety, usable yard space, and views, with the applicant present to explain minor adjustments to an existing wall. 156 Highland Street – further increase the nonconforming Floor Area Ratio (FAR) (7-1, Councilor Laredo recused) to relocate a detached accessory building to a more central location and to construct a connection to the main building. The Committee held:
