The United Parish of Auburndale (UPA) 18th annual Pumpkin Patch is open now through October 31. There are pumpkins and gourds of all shapes and sizes — and a bake sale and the chance to win one of several sumptuous raffle baskets. The Pumpkin Patch and PumpkinFest on October 26 take place at the UPA (64 Hancock Street, Auburndale).
Pumpkin Patch, through Oct. 31
The UPA Pumpkin Patch is open:
- Monday/Wednesday/Friday: 12PM – 6PM
- Tuesday/Thursday/Saturday/Sunday: 10AM – 6PM
- For information about closures due to weather, call the church office at 617-964-8516.
This is a community event as well as a fundraiser for the church. People return year after year to buy their pumpkins at the UPA Pumpkin Patch . These pumpkins are provided by Pumpkins, USA and are grown and harvested by Native Americans (Navajo) on farms owned by Pumpkins, USA in New Mexico. The proceeds are shared between Pumpkins, USA, the Navajo, and the UPA.
The UPA proceeds go to support local, statewide, national, and international organizations that minister to human needs. In 2024, the UPA supported Chaplains on the Way, REACH: Beyond Domestic Violence, GLAD Law, BAGLY, Rise Against Hunger, Boston Area Gleaners and more.
