Newton Conservators: Guided Walk in Webster Woods, Oct. 25

The Newton Conservators will host an easy fall foliage ramble in Webster Woods on Saturday, October 25, from 10AM to 12 noon. Barbara Bates, a Newton Conservators director and retired Mass Audubon teacher/naturalist, will discuss the plants and natural histories of Webster Woods’s vernal pool, upland forest and other habitats. The trails can be rocky but are mostly flat except for a few steep portions. In case of rain, the event will be rescheduled to November 1, from 10AM to 12 noon.

For questions concerning the walk, contact Barbara Bates at [email protected].

Registration is required to participate and receive instructions on where to meet. The walk is limited to 30 people.
