Recommended to City Council
City Clerk/Clerk of the Council Candidate Interviews (6-0) After interviewing the four public finalists, the Committee voted 6–0 to recommend Andrew Willison for appointment. The Councilors highlighted his depth and range of professional experience as well as his strong management experience. They noted that he brought intangible gravitas and maturity as well. All candidates had passed their social media screenings and reference checks.
Note: Interviews followed a consistent, pre-written question set; meeting paused 6:00–7:00 PM for the 9/11 memorial before resuming.
