Election Commission will meet on Monday regarding:

Newton Affordable Housing Trust will meet on Monday to review and discuss updates to the Newton Gardens Affordable Housing Project.

Newton Cultural Council will meet Monday regarding:

  • Pro Arte grant modification request
  • Priorities for upcoming grant cycle
  • Grantee Reception Update – 9/16/25 City Hall War Memorial Auditorium
  • Planning for new grant cycle: Scoring rubric, Marketing and communications
  • Subcommittee report for mayor’s art platform/arts planning

Preliminary Screening Committee for the position of City Clerk will meet in executive session on Tuesday to discuss candidate resumes and interview feedback and conduct Preliminary Interviews.

    Newton Commonwealth Foundation, which operates the municipal golf course, will meet on Tuesday regarding:

    • RFP for Drainage Project on Hole #10 & #11. The only bid was for $1,097,040.
    • Review bids for RFP for New Green on Hole #6 and New Tee on Hole #10
    • Update on replacement patio doors for clubhouse

    Newton Retirement Board will meet on Tuesday regarding:
