Cooper Center: A conversation about Health Care Proxies, Sept. 16

Three volunteer members of the Newton-Wellesley Hospital Palliative Care Council will lead a conversation about Health Care Proxies on Tuesday, September 16, 10AM-11AM, at the Brigham House (20 Hartford Street, Newton Highlands). They will share their personal experiences as health care proxies for loved ones.

Join the conversation about how to choose a health care proxy and how to communicate with your proxy and family members about advance-care planning. Share your concerns and learn about resources that have suggestions about how to start and continue what may feel like difficult and seemingly taboo conversations.

RSVP required. Please call 617-796-1675, stop by the Front Desk at 20 Hartford Street, or send your name, telephone number, and email address to the Cooper Center receptionists at [email protected].
