Brooke Foucault Welles has been named Interim Dean of the College of Arts, Media and Design at Northeastern University. Her permanent role is Senior Associate Dean for Research and Partnerships and Professor in the Department of Communication Studies.

Benjamin Dollar has been elected to the board of the nonprofit Northeast Arc, which “helps children and adults with disabilities and autism become full participants in the community.” On joining the board, he said, “I have one child on the autism spectrum and one that is profoundly disabled. We have used Northeast Arc services, and I firmly believe in its mission. I’m honored to represent the company on the board of directors.” Mr. Dollar is a Principal at Deloitte Consulting, focusing on digital transformation in supply chain and manufacturing, and is also Chief Strategy Officer for the firm’s Energy, Resources, and Industrials practice.
Laura McJilton, Ph.D. has recently joined the law firm Greenberg Traurig as an associate to provide business-oriented IP legal advice for artificial intelligence, software, chemistry, life science, physics, and electronics-based technologies. Previously she was in-house counsel at a large biotechnology company, supporting the digital pathology division and all AI/ML initiatives. Previously she was a senior engineer at Intel.
Jonah Wade Henderson has graduated magna cum laude from Dickinson College with a Bachelor of Science in psychology and neuroscience and was named to the Dean’s List for the spring semester.
Angus Chen, Alessia Falchuk, and Lucy Vasil graduated from Fairfield University in May.
