Land Use Committee – June 17, 2025

The Land Use Committee voted to approve the following (see report and watch the meeting video):

  • Request to extend a nonconforming two-family dwelling use, to extend the nonconforming front setback and to allow a three-story structure at 52-54 Hatfield Road (6-0-1, Councilor Kelley recused) The Committee approved the withdrawal of item without prejudice. Petition Documents
  • Request to exceed FAR at 135 Hartman Road (7-0) The Committee approved the withdrawal of item without prejudice. Petition Documents
  • Request to exceed FAR at 50 Braeland Avenue (7-0) The Committee approved the withdrawal of item without prejudice. Petition Documents
  • Request to allow three attached single-family dwellings at 8 Central Avenue (7-0) to raze the dwelling and construct three attached single-family dwellings in two separate buildings. Petition Documents Draft Order
  • Request to allow three single-family attached dwellings in two buildings, to waive certain dimensional requirements and one parking stall at 237-239 Langley Road (6-0, Councilor Leary abstaining). Petition Documents Draft Order

The Land Use Committee voted to hold the following:

  • Request to allow three single-family attached dwellings, parking relief and a combination of retaining walls exceeding four feet in height at 790 Watertown Street (7-0) For public hearing to continue. Neighbors expressed concern about 2 new curb cuts by a dangerous intersection. Petition Documents
