Newton Police host annual National Night Out, Aug. 5

The Newton Police Department will its annual National Night Out on Tuesday, August 5, 5PM-8PM, in Captain John Ryan Park, next to the police station (1321 Washington Street, West Newton).

National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie.

This free event is made possible by contributions and donations from the the Newton Fire Department Children’s Fund, Wegmans, the Village Bank, Honda Village, Tody’s Towing, Kenmore Reality Group, Cabot’s Ice Cream, GSN Foods LLC, Blue Ribbon BBQ, D&A Pizza, and City officials. The Newton Cultural Development will sponsor entertainment by the White Collar Crime Band.

There will be a face painter, balloon artist, bounce house, touch-a-truck, resource tables, cotton
candy, popcorn, hot dogs, hamburgers, pizza, and more.
