Community Clothing and Book Drive, June 8

The Society of St. Vincent de Paul, a charity that has been assisting people in Newton for over 100 years, will hold its semi-annual Clothing and Book Drive on June 8, 8AM-12PM and 4PM-6PM

The drive gives everyone a chance to clean out their closets and bookshelves while providing for those in need. Accepted clothes items include: clothing of all types and all seasons, coats, linens, towels and blankets. Clothes must be clean and in good condition and books must be in boxes or bags. 

Look for the Society’s truck in the parking lot of Our Lady Help of Christians parish (573 Washington Street, with the parking lot entrance at 279 Adams Street. If you have any questions, please email svdp@sholnewton.org.
