The first ever New England Ukulele Festival will commence, featuring lively performances from popular ukulele groups from across the region, a workshop and performance by award-winning ukulele virtuoso Victoria Vox, vendors, artisans, raffles, food for purchase, a cash bar, a community jam-along finale, and a live online auction.
Limited-edition T-shirts are available before the event.
Admission is free, and donations are gratefully accepted to benefit the Ukulele Kids Club, a 501(c)(3) a nonprofit that provides ukulele-based music therapy to kids in children’s hospitals here in MA and across the country.
It will take place on Sunday, May 4, 12-5PM at the American Legion Post 440 (295 California Street, Nonantum). Admission is free, and donations are welcomed.
