The Linda Plaut Festival of the Arts (May 17 – June 29) will start with a Western-themed kickoff event featuring live music and instructed line dancing. It will take place on Saturday, May 17, 7PM-9PM at the War Memorial Auditorium at Newton City Hall (1000 Commonwealth Avenue, Newton Centre). Admission is free, registration is suggested but not required.
Hit the dance floor with live music from the Surefire Band. From 7–8 PM, line dancing pro Paul Hughes will lead a fun, beginner-friendly lesson to get everyone moving. Snacks provided by Wegmans. The event is free, accessible, and open to all community members.
