Historic Newton will host a Newton House Tour where participants can visit historic homes in Newton to learn about how homeowners have made creative renovations and interesting interior design choices that add to the life of a historic structure. Participants must be aged 12+. It will take place on Sunday, May 18, 12-5PM. Buy tickets online.
Start at Durant-Kenrick House and Grounds (286 Waverley Avenue, Newton Corner) to pickup your guidebook and wristband. The guidebook provides the location of each of the homes on the tour, and the wristband gives you access inside them. Transportation is not provided between sites; it is recommended that guests drive to each home, as they will span the city.
