City Council
City Council is not scheduled to meet this week.
Land Use Committee will meet on Tuesday to consider Special Permit/Site Plan approvals to:
- Construct a 2,000-square-foot, two-story addition, adding a preschool room and large music room, with two freestanding signs at 1615 Beacon Street
- Raze the dwelling and construct a new single-family dwelling at 35 Village Circle
- Allow retaining walls with combined height over four feet at 298-304 Elliot Street
- Construct a rear addition of two dwelling units resulting in four attached single-family dwellings at 75 Prescott Street
School Committee
School Committee will meet on Wednesday for public comment and discussion about the NPS FY 2026 Preliminary Budget Proposal.
Community Budget meeting: Superintendent Anna Nolin and School Committee Chair Chris Brezski will hold a second Community Budget Meeting on Thursday, April 3 at Brown Middle School — a repeat of the Community Budget meeting on March 27. NPS has prepared a Budget Communication Toolkit for those cannot attend one of these meetings.

Youth Commission will meet on Monday to discuss May YCAB schedule, logo, and June celebration.
Election Commission will meet on Tuesday to certify the results of the March 18 Special Municipal Election for the Ward 7 School Committee seat and set a date for a September Primary Election in case it is needed.
