Newton residents are standing out on Newton Centre Green every Saturday, 12 Noon to 1PM, at the corner of Beacon and Centre Streets, to demonstrate opposition to the actions the government is taking to fire government employees, limit free speech, deport immigrants and limit immigration, abandon our foreign allies, impose destructive tariffs, dismantle diversity initiatives, and attack science, universities, the LGBTQ+ community and the education system.
Organizers urge all to spread the word and bring signs to show support for truth and justice and democracy.
Senator Ed Markey will join the demonstration on Saturday, March 29.
