Newton South HS will present its annual Jazz Night on April 10 at 7:30PM in the Van Seasholes Auditorium at Newton South (140 Brandeis Rd). Admission is free. The concert will feature performances by all Newton South jazz ensembles: Newton’s South’s four jazz improvisation groups, the award-winning Jazz Ensemble, and the Lab Jazz Ensemble, which performs jazz music in the big band style.
All jazz ensembles are directed by Lisa Linde, who recently received national recognition as the 2025 John LaPorta Jazz Educator of the Year.
