The All Newton Music School will present a free concert, Six Violins, Six Centuries on Saturday, March 15 at 4PM at 321 Chestnut Street, West Newton. Free tickets are required and are available online.

The concert will survey the violin’s 500-year development from its modest beginnings serving dancers with simple accompaniment to its emergence as a solo star of the concert stage, acknowledging along the way its popularity for use in social music in all corners of the world.
