The Newton Free Library will host an event, In the Shadow of the Shamrock: Tracing Boston’s Irish History at Burns Library, where participants can explore Boston’s Irish past through the rich collections at Burns Library and Boston College’s Special Collections and Archives. There will also be stories from Boston’s Irish community, and participants can learn how to find and use the library’s resources for their own research. The event will take place on Monday, March 24, 7-8PM in the Druker Auditorium at the Newton Free Library. Registration is encouraged.
