Hadassah Boston’s largest grassroots fundraiser, Not Your Bubbe’s Seder, will be held on March 30 at 1:30PM at Temple Beth Avodah (45 Puddingstone Lane, Newton). The Seder’s theme is “Shed a little light – Jewish humor through the ages,” and the headliner will be comedian, writer and NPR host Ophira Eisenberg. Ms. Eisenberg hosted NPR’s comedy trivia show “Ask me Another” for 9 years and is a regular host and teller with “The Moth.” Other speakers will be:
- Carol Ann Schwartz, National Hadassah President, who will update attendees regarding Hadassah’s new Gandel Rehabilitation Center in Jerusalem, and
- Roz Garber Toledano, the Woman of Wonder (WoW) Award recipient for her volunteer work with Hadassah and the Synagogue Council of Massachusetts.
The event is open to members and non-members of Hadassah, and tickets for in-person or remote attendance may be purchased here. Space is limited and all attendees must pre-register.
