The Make Way for Ducklings sculpture in the Boston Public Garden is a beloved, iconic piece of public art, created by Newton artist Nancy Schön. On Sunday, January 26 at 2PM, the Newton Free Library, will host a screening of the documentary Make Way for Ducklings: From Boston to Moscow with Nancy Schön, film producer Stella Gould, and photographer/editor Gino Mauro. The film explores the history of the sculpture, as well as the international effort to bring a second set of Make Way for Ducklings statues to Moscow in 1991. A Q&A with Nancy Schön will follow the screening. This program is for adults.
