Scandinavian Fair at Newton North HS, Nov. 23

Come meet a Viking at the annual Scandinavian Fair on November 23, 10AM-3PM at Newton North High school (457 Walnut Street, Newtonville).

This popular fair is an annual tradition that brings together a unique combination of activities, food and gifts to kick off the holiday season.

The Nordic café is always a great place to meet people and get waffles, hot dogs, and meat balls with the fixings. Gourmet specialty cheeses, baked goods, chocolates and seafood are also on display at great prices.

The event features live traditional Scandinavian music. A Christmas shop has some traditional Scandinavian ornaments and stocking stuffers. Start Christmas shopping with hand-made Scandinavian related gifts, jewelry, books, Christmas items,  linens, and more.

Admission is free for children under 16, and $3 for adults. The Fair is sponsored by the Norumbega Lodge of the Sons of Norway. All proceeds support the Lodge’s fraternal and charitable activities.
