Uniting Citizens for Housing Affordability in Newton (U-CHAN) will host voter-registration sites on October 12 and 14:
Saturday, October 12, 1PM-3PM at TRIO Newton Apartments (858 Washington Street, Newtonville) in the plaza between Clover Food Lab and Mida.
Monday, October 14, 11AM-5PM, in collaboration with Citizens for Affordable Housing in Newton Development Organization (CAN-DO), at the Indigenous Peoples Day Ceremonial Celebration at Albemarle Field. (Admission to the festival is free.)
As participants in the non-partisan Our Homes Our Vote drive, organized by the National Low Income Housing Coalition, U-CHAN especially invites renters to attend but will assist all Newton residents who wish to register.
