Newton Senior Chamber Ensemble will present a free Winter Concert and Singalong on December 18, 2PM-3PM, at the Newton Free Library (330 Homer Street).
Founded and directed by Gwendoline Thornblade, the Newton Senior Chamber Ensemble has been playing together for over 20 years. They enjoy sharing their music with the Newton Community and welcome all players at every level. This program will include selections from:
- Haydn, “Surpise” Symphony
- Holst, Brook Green Suite
- Vaughan Williams, Dives and Lazarus variants
A sing-along of seasonal music will follow, and songbooks will be provided.
