The Highland Glee Club is hosting Oktoberfest — A Concert of Drinking Songs for Men’s Choir with a selection of rousing drinking songs for men’s choir spanning time, place, and genre including Mendelssohn’s OPus 50 song cycle. Special guest operatic baritone Junhan Choi will join the men in Schubert’s Trinklie d D 75 and also sing Rossini’s famous “Figaro” aria. The concert will be followed by a beer garden reception courtesy of the Mighty Squirrel. It will take place on Saturday, October 26 at 3PM at the Grace Episcopal Church (76 Eldredge Street, Newton Corner). Tickets are $25.
