Green Newton is inviting all to come see and “kick the tires” of the electric school bus on display at the Green Expo @ Harvest Fair on October 20. The Newton Electric Vehicle (EV) Task Force will be joined by representatives of the school bus manufacturer/dealer company, who will be on hand to discuss the benefits of going electric and answer your questions.
At 1PM in front of (or inside) the bus, there will be short speeches of endorsement and Q&A by:
- Greg Schwartz, Democratic Nominee for State Representative (12th Middlesex district)
- Vicky Danberg, Newton City Councilor, Ward 6
- Martha Bixby, Nowton City Councilor, Ward 6
- Jason Raposa, Regional Manager of Highland E-bus Company; a representative of New England Transit Sales.
Moderators will be Philip Vergragt and George Kirby of the EV Task Force.
