MASSCreative’s Create the Vote team is partnering with the New Art Center and Newton Cultural Alliance to present an arts-focused forum with candidates running for the 11th & 12th Middlesex State House Districts. It will take place on Thursday, October 10, 6:30PM-7:30PM, at The Allen Center for the Arts (35 Webster Street, West Newton).
All constituents are invited to join this in-person dialogue with these candidates to discuss their arts and culture policy platforms. Register here to attend.
This forum will provide the chance to hear directly from the candidates, learn how they view the role of arts, culture, and creativity in building more inclusive and connected communities, and understand how they plan to support the arts if elected. MASSCreative is leading this effort to ensure that the creative sector’s voice is heard in this election, to keep arts and culture at the heart of state-level policy conversations.
