Uniting Citizens for Housing Affordability in Newton (U-CHAN) and Citizens for Affordable Housing in Newton Development Organization (CAN-DO) will be hosting voter registration at the Newtonville Village Day festivities on September 29, noon to 4PM — on Walnut Street between Cabot and Washington Streets.
As participants in the non-partisan Our Homes Our Vote drive, organized by the National Low Income Housing Coalition, U-CHAN and CAN-DO especially invite renters to attend, but will assist all residents who wish to or need to register to vote. (There is no entry fee to the festival.)
