Newton Singers — a fun, friendly, local Community Chorus sponsored by Newton Community Pride –seeks Sopranos, Altos, Tenors, and Basses to round out its membership and achieve a nice blend. All are welcome! Ability to read music is not required.
All are invited to come to an open rehearsal. Rehearsals are on Tuesdays, 7PM-8:30PM, from September 24 through October 29, at the Elevation Chapel (150 Lowell Avenue, Newtonville).
This fun, relaxed chorus performs for Newton and local area residents. The repertoire includes songs from the American Songbook, showtunes, Jazz, madrigals, folk songs, and much more — as seen in some of the Newton Singers past programs.
