Democrats voting in the September 3 primary have a historic chance to improve the Governor’s Council— the people who approve judicial and parole board nominees.
Massachusetts deserves high-quality judges, and those who reflect our values. This is the body that makes sure that happens, no matter the governor.
Mara Dolan is a public defender, and, if elected, would be the first such, with experience before the bench, to serve on the Council. That’s important.
