All Newton Music School’s Musical Memory Café is an informal social gathering for people with dementia and other cognitive changes and their care partners. Guests are welcome regardless of diagnosis. Attendees can connect with fellow community members while enjoying a musical performance by some of All Newton Music School’s outstanding faculty.
This event is hosted by board-certified music therapist Cheyenne Mize and features husband and wife duo Kim & Ross Petot. Kim is a full-time instructor at the All Newton Music school, sings with Chorus pro Musica, works with Memory residents, and is an active church musician leading three handbell choirs. Ross is one of the Boston area’s busiest pianists and is well known to audiences throughout New England. Join us in making a joyful noise!
It will take place on Tuesday, October 1, 1:30PM-2:30PM at All Newton Music School (321 Chestnut Street, West Newton).
This event is free, but registration is encouraged.
