  • Zoning & Planning holding a public hearing with the Planning & Development Board on fast-food restaurants, business incubators, and places of amusement
  • School Committee meeting about Internet devices, instructional technology, DEI, swing space, neighborhood schools, Superintendent evaluation, and school calendar
  • Countryside School Building Committee meeting about sustainability.

City Council

Finance meeting this week has been canceled.

Zoning and Planning has canceled its meeting on Monday and moved it to Thursday, when it address the following:

  • Holding a public hearing, jointly with the Planning & Development Board, regarding proposed zoning changes for fast-food restaurants, restaurants with drive-thru service, business incubators, and places of amusement
  • Discussing with the Inspectional Services and Planning Departments regarding how the public and staff access NewGov, with a live demonstration
  • Discussing with the Planning Department, Law Department, Chair of the Land Use Committee, and Chair of the Zoning Board of Appeals regarding the process for community engagement for large developments

Newtonville Local Historic District Commission will meet on Thursday to consider: Certificate of Appropriateness to build a rear addition and deck at 79 Lowell Avenue.
