To celebrate Independence Day, Newton Parks, Recreation and Culture (PRC) will host multiple events in the afternoon and evening of Thursday, July 4 — all taking place at the Albemarle Field/Halloran Sports Complex (250 Albemarle Road, Nonantum).
- 1PM: Kiddie Carnival by Cushing Amusements
- 3PM: Music in Gazebo by the Bay Colony Brass
- 5:30PM: Music on Main Stage by Kat Chapman and her bandmate and co-producer Chris Leadbetter
- 7PM: Music from the band East Coast Soul
- 9:10PM: FIREWORKS!
Food trucks will be parked around the grass. Rain date is Friday, July 5.
