Greg Reibman

Greg Reibman, President and CEO of the Charles River Regional Chamber, is one of four recipients of the Housing Hero award presented by the Massachusetts Housing Partnership to honor “hard work and unwavering commitment” to supporting MHP’s goal to increase the supply of affordable housing in Massachusetts. MHP said, “He has built an exceptional level of support for housing, especially in the business community. He’s been a strong voice, building the case for communities to take action, … [helping to] tell the story of why it’s important to allow room for growth in the state’s MBTA communities.”

The following students are this year’s recipients of Nancy Quint Schön Arts Scholarships:

  • Frances Mattioli, Newton North – Attending New York University
  • Anna Kladova, Newton South – Attending Pratt School of Design
  • Nisaiah Barbosa, Newton North – Attending Northeastern University

The University of Wisconsin-Madison has named the following students from Newton to its Dean’s List for the Spring semester:

  • Dean’s Honor List — College of Engineering: Tess Fitzgerald, Nathan Hautefeuille, Holland Hargens
  • Dean’s List — College of Letters and Science: Joseph Gann, Simon Ball, Diana Creedon, Erin Cunningham, Liam Infantino, Ethan Klein, Sarah Morrow, Sage Pollack, Cleo Whitney, Samuel Zarr
  • Dean’s List — School of Business: Kasey Frohn
Julie Chasse

Julie Chasse, CPA, has been elected to the 19-member Board of Directors of the Massachusetts Society of CPAs. She is a director at Northeastern University, where she oversees the graduate accounting programs and leads student success initiatives, student recruitment for masters degrees, and an Advisory Board to refine the curriculum. Prior to academia, she was a tax manager at EY.
