Historic Newton is hosting a Hayfest — a day when families can travel back in-time to the 19th century by dipping candles, pressing apples, churning butter, playing games, and more. It will take place on Sunday, October 6, 12-4PM in the backyard of the Jackson Homestead (527 Washington Street, Nonantum). The event is free, and you can stop by at any time during it.
