Freekick Initiative: Free soccer clinics for anyone in Grades 3-7, Aug. 25

The FreeKick Initiative, founded by Newton South High School soccer players, aims to make competitive soccer accessible to all, regardless of socio-economic status or skill level.

The group has hosted a free soccer clinic and will host two more free soccer clinics for Grades 3-7 at Brimmer and May School (69 Middlesex Road, Chestnut Hill): August 18 or August 25. (Register at those links.)

The clinics are led by soccer players from Newton South HS and are supervised by adults. Each clinic runs 10AM-Noon and will be split into two groups — Grades 3-5 and Graces 6-7. All are welcome, regardless of skill level or experience. Girls are welcome, and the FreeKick Initiative hopes to be able to offer a clinic for girls.
