May is the peak time for migrating birds passing through the Newton area on their way north. Join Newton Conservators for a free Spring Birding Walk on Saturday, May 4, 8AM-10AM, at Cold Spring Park, one of Newton’s premier birding locations. Participants will meet near the turnaround at the end of the left side of the Beacon Street parking area (1200 Beacon Street). This is an easy walk on flat woodland trails.
