One Can Help (OCH), founded by Newton residents in 2006, works across Massachusetts to provide urgently needed resources to children and families in need — quickly, responsibly, and impactfully changing lives.
OCH’s 18th annual fundraiser, Celebrate Changing Lives, will be held on May 6, starting at 6:30PM at Brewer’s Tap & Table (256 Moody Street, Waltham). Tickets and sponsorships are available online. Reduced priced tickets are available for juvenile court advocates, social workers or others needing assistance (email isil@onecanhelp.org).
The event features Emmy Award-Winning Journalist and Channel 7 News anchor Amaka Ubaka, along with several young adults who have generously offered to talk about their lives and the pivotal changes that took place in part because OCH was there to help at a critical moment.
