Register now for the Newton South HS Booster Club’s 3rd annual Lions 5K road race, to be held on May 19 at 9AM. The race will start and end at Newton South’s Winkler Stadium Field (140 Brandeis Road). It’s open to the public — both runners and walkers.
It’s a fundraiser to support Newton South athletics and boost overall school and community spirit. The Lions 5K has drawn over 400 participants the last two years, including students, teachers, staff, parents, coaches, alumni, neighbors, and local residents. Participants ran, walked, volunteered, donated, and cheered, helping us raise more than $30,000 with each race.
Registration before race day is $35 for adults and $25 for youth and high school students, on race day is $40 for adults and $30 for youth and high school students.
