The Newton Schools Foundation (NSF) will host Newton Inspires — an evening of ideas and community — on March 14, 6PM-9PM, at Newton South High School. Proceeds will help NSF advance excellence and equity in the Newton Public Schools by funding NSF grants in three strategic areas:
- New approaches in the classroom,
- Professional development for teachers, and
- Programs that promote equity for all students.

- Mission Message: Dr. Adrian B. Mims, Sr. , CEO and Founder of The Calculus Project,
- Keynote speaker: Anike Tourse, actor and independent filmmaker, director of America’s Family
- Session speakers:
- Marguerite Fletcher, diversity consultant and attorney
- Thom Solo, women’s shoe designer
- Jill Radsken, journalist
Tickets ($40) include a boxed meal from Shiva’s Kitchen and desserts from Salt Patisserie.
