Newton at Home (NaH) will host a Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser — with pasta, beverages, live piano music, and raffle prizes — on April 4, 5:30-7:30PM at The Nordic Hall of the Scandinavian Cultural Center (206 Waltham St, West Newton). All are invited to support Newton at Home’s runner in the Boston Marathon!
This is the first year that Newton at Home has been chosen to receive a charity bib for the Boston Marathon, and we are absolutely thrilled to be partnering with Christian Baglini—a Nurse Practitioner at Mass General Cancer Center in Boston—who will run in the 128th Boston Marathon on behalf of our organization. Christian seeks to raise $5,000 for Newton at Home, and all the proceeds will go to supporting our services and programs so that we can continue to grow and meet the needs of Newton’s older residents.
Don’t miss out on this chance to meet Newton at Home members and volunteers as well as Christian and his network, while enjoying pasta (generously donated by MIDA and Bocca Bella), beverages, live piano music from NaH member Rita Moerschel, and raffle prizes. You will leave the event ready and “carb-loaded” for Marathon Monday – inspired by Christian and his efforts to support Newton at Home’s important mission.
Admission is $25 per person. Raffle tickets will be available for purchase at the event for $5 per ticket, or 5 tickets for $20. Click here to register!
Check out Christian’s fundraising page, where you may also make a donation.
