Historic Newton is celebrating its 10th anniversary with dinner and drinks at the Durant-Kenrick House on April 6. Scott Aquilina, who led the architectural team in turning Durant-Kenrick into a museum, will speak about the challenges of preservation and modernization facing historic buildings today. Cocktails at 6PM and dinner at 7PM. Dinner will be inspired by the orchards of the Kenricks.
Tickets are $125 each and support the ongoing work of Historic Newton to preserve, educate, and connect Newton’s community with history. For those not yet members, each purchase also includes a complimentary Family membership to Historic Newton.
