The Cabot Woods Canines group will host an online public meeting, Off-Leash Dogs at Edmands Park #2, on January 17 at 7:30PM (Zoom link). It’s for further discussion on the proposal to make Cabot Woods/Edmands Park a more welcoming place for all users, including off-leash dogs. Cabot Woods Canines is the website for a group of Newton residents who are working with the community and the City of Newton to get Cabot Woods / Edmands Park approved as an off-leash area for dog walking. The group is committed to responsible dog walking, both on and off-leash to make Cabot Woods enjoyable for all residents. The group reminds the public that Cabot Woods is currently NOT an off-leash area, and walking your dog off-leash in Cabot Woods at this time could result in a warning or a fine.
