The League of Women Voters Newton will host a book signing featuring Ellen Clegg (former editor of the Boston Globe) and Dan Kennedy (Northeastern University professor of journalism) speaking about their new book, What Works in Community News: Media Startups, Media Deserts, and the Future of the Fourth Estate.
The event will take place on January 28, 3PM-4:30PM, at Lasell Village (120 Seminary Avenue, Auburndale). Space is limited. Register online. A donation of $20 per person to the League of Women Voters Newton, either at the door or online, is requested but not required.
